Revaluation, Verification of CA-CPT FINAL Answer Papers Nov 2013 - Total Procedure

Hai friends, ICAI has released the Results for CA-CPT and CA-Final Exams held on Nov and Dec, 2013. Some of you have successfully cleared and some of you may not. But don't worry you can apply for Revaluation if you are not satisfied with the marks awarded by ICAI. Here we provide you the detailed information regarding revaluation of answer sheets.

Procedure for Verification of Answer Sheets :

Offline Procedure : 
There is No Standard Procedure/ Application Form for applying for Revaluation of Marks. A simple Hand written application should be submitted to the Institute in the Candidate’s Own Handwriting indicating.

The request for verification will be considered only after the application in the candidate’s own handwriting in Hindi language if the medium of examination was Hindi else in English language duly signed with requisite fee by way of Demand Draft(DD) is received within 1 month of the date of declaration of Results.
Online Procedure :
In case the Student opts for submission of application online, he/she would be required to Scan the Handwritten Revaluation Application and upload it on the above mentioned website. The Payment of Revaluation Fees in this case would be made using Debit/ Credit Card. After uploading the Scanned Copy online, the Student wont be required to send the hard copy to ICAI.

Fee for Revaluation of Marks:

Fee for Revaluation of Marks for IPCC and Final is Rs. 100/- per paper subject to a maximum of Rs. 400/- for all the papers of a group/ both groups.
Fee for Revaluation of Marks for CPT is Rs. 200/-

Fees is to be remitted by way of Demand Draft in favour of“The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” and payable at New Delhi.

Process of Verification of CA Answer Sheets: 

The process of verification covers the following process:

• Whether the answer book(s) compilation is complete.
• Whether any question or part thereof has remained unvalued.
• Whether there is any totaling error in any question or total marks on the cover page.
• Whether there is any discrepancy between the marks for each question and or/part thereof and marks for each question indicated on the cover page of the answer book.
• Whether the handwriting of the examinee in all the answer books is the same.

Refund of Revaluation Fee:

In case of change in marks pursuant to verification, the verification fee is refunded to the examinee automatically. There is no need to make a separate claim for refund. In case, he/she had also applied for the next exam, pending the outcome of the verification and the outcome of verification, leads to his passing the earlier exam, the examination fees paid by him/her for the next exam will also be refunded. The same will be informed to the Candidates individually.
