Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published notification for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014(CGL-2014). Eligible candidates can apply online from 18-01-2014 to 14-02-2014. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below. Interested and Eligible Candidates can apply through prescribed format before 14th February 2014.

Eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
1. For Inspector of Income Tax/Central Excise/Preventive Officer/Examiner/Posts/Assistant Enforcement Officer/(CBN) Compiler/Divisional Accountant/Auditors/UDCs/Tax Assistants/Junior Accountant & Accountant/Sub-Inspector(CBN) should have 18-27 years.
2. For Statistical Investigator Gr.II: Not exceeding 26 years (He/she must have been born not before 02/01/1987)
3.For Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI: 20-27 years (He/She must have been born not before 02/01/1987)
Educational Qualification:
1. Compiler : Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
2. Statistical Investigator Grade – II: Bachelor's Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects
OR Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR Bachelor's Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
3. All other Posts: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For posts of Assistants (CSS), Computer Proficiency has been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.
Selection Process:
Selection process will be on the basis of Written Examination, personality Test cum Interview/computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test(Wherever applicable)/Document Verification.
Application Fees:
Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- through CRFS or Challan or on-line account with SBI. ( Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders).
How to Apply:
Eligible applicants can apply through Either online Or offline basis as given below:
Offline : Applicants can apply offline download application, fill mandatory details and affix recent passport size photo and attach all required documents and should be sent to as given address in the notification(refer Notification) on or before 14th February 2014.
Online : Applicants can also apply through online by SSC official website which contains registrations Part_I on or before 12th February 2014 & Part_II registration on or before 14th February 2014.

Last date of online Registration (Part-I): 12.02.2014
Last date of online Registration (Part-II): 14.02.2014 upto (05:00 PM)
Date of Examination (Tier-I) : 27th April & 04th May 2014
