Retired Veteran Cricketer VVS Laxman had filed a police complaint. Laxman who got retired from lodged a complaint over unauthorized activity after receiving a text message that the money from his account had been transferred. Policemen reacted well and they have arrested a candidate (28 year old) suspected of a siphoning off a million rupees from the account of VVS Laxman. Deputy commissioner of police said that the money was deposited in an account opened by the suspect in the name of a fictitious company. He added that police are yet to know how the suspect gained the access to VVS Laxman's account.
Laxman, known by his initials VVS (VERY VERY SPECIAL) is the stylish middle order batsman who made his debut in 1996 had played 134 tests for India, scoring 8781 runs at an average of 45.97 with 17 centuries, 56 fifties and his magical 281 against Australia at Eden gardens, when India defeated the world champions after being made to follow on 274 runs behind.
