Kevin pietersens career with England has been brought to an abrupt halt. kevin Pietersen, the top scorer of England has been informed that he has not been included in the England squads for the upcoming caribbean tour and also for the later ICC worlds twenty20 to be held at Bangladesh in the month of march by ENGLAND CRICKET BOARD. KP met the managing director of ECB and was told that the unanimous decision of the ECB was that now was the time to rebuild the completely crashed England team.
Paul Downton said that "KP has been such an excellent player as the fact that he is the country's leading run scorer. But However, we have decided to look to the future and start to rebuild not only the team but also team ethic and Philosophy. We all wish KP the very best in the rest of his career".
Pietersen reacted saying that "Playing cricket for my country has been an honour. Every time I pulled on the England shirt was a moment of hige pride for me and that is something that will live with me forever. "Although I am obviously very sad the incredible journey has come to an end and I'm feeling extremely fortunate to have played for nine years. I will continue to play but deeply regret that it wont be for England."
