The Revised Scheme of Revalidation for CA-CPT / IPCC / FINAL came into effect from 1st January, 2013 and shall be applicable to CPT, IPCC, FINAL students. The Candidates can go with their Revalidation of Registration whose registration has become invalid. ICAI has recently released the revised notificationof registration for CA-CPT, IPCC, FINAL. There is a prescribed format for Revalidation process of CA-CPT, IPCC, FINAL.

Applicability of the Scheme:
There rules vary for different levels of Chartered Accountancy Course.
Level I : CA-CPT
Level II : CA-IPCC
Level III : CA-FINAL
For Common Proficiency Course Students:
- Initial registration for common proficiency course (CPC) is valid for 3 years .
- Each revalidation shall be valid for 3 years .
- Fee for revalidation is Rs. 300 /- for each revalidation .
- Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying form for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) .
- The students shall have to apply for revalidation of registration with prescribed fee as stated above .
For Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Students:
- Initial Registration for IPCC is valid for 4 years .
- Fee for Revalidation is Rs. 400 /- for each Revalidation .
- Students who have registered for the course, on or before 1st Dec, 2009 and completing their 4 years validity period till 31st Dec, 2013 are advised to apply for Revalidation.
- Students shall have to apply for revalidation of registration with prescribed fee as stated above .
- Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying for the examinations .
- Students who have registered in Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course II)/ Professional Competence Course(PCC) are required to switch over to Intermediate (IPC) course in order to continue the Chartered Accountancy Course.
For Final Students:
- Initial Registration for Final Course is valid for 5 years .
- Fee for Revalidation is Rs. 500 /- for each Revalidation
- Students who have registered for Final course, on or before 31st Dec, 2008 (Including students who have shifted from OLD Final course to NEW Final course) and completing their 5 years validity period till 31st Dec, 2013 are advised to apply for Revalidation.
- Each revalidation is valid for 5 years .
- Students shall have to apply for revalidating the registration with prescribed fee as stated above i.e Rs.500/-
- Students should ensure that they have valid registration before applying for the examinations.

Draw a Demand Draft in favour of :
" The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Payable at Mumbai/ Chennai/ Kanpur/ kolkatta/ New Delhi" as the case may be and send to the concerned decentralized office where the registration was done .
Students who have registered in Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course II)/ Professional Competence Course(PCC) are required to switch over to Intermediate (IPC) course in order to continue the Chartered Accountancy Course .
